To achieve internet marketing success, pick your niche, establish your site around your niche, and stay focused within your niche.
Do not produce your info products on a wide array of diverse topics. You will be much more successful if you pick a narrow niche and make every information product you produce relate directly to that niche.
There are several reasons for this:
Number one is that you will be much more effective as a product producer and seller if you focus on one product. You will be more inclined to do diligent research and development on the product. Because of your focus, you will be come an expert on the topic and your presentations to your clients will ring with authority.
Clients like to do business with experts. They like the assurance that you know what you are talking about. They feel comfortable buying from someone in whom they feel confidence.
Number two is that you will be better able to establish yourself with search engines when you have a tightly focused niche product. The more web crawlers associate your product with a specific topic, the easier it will be to rank. If the focus of your publications and articles is scattered over many niche areas, you will find it difficult to rank well anywhere.
